Home / Deals and property

Deals, set out the way a lender reads them.

We work for buyers, developers and private lenders. We build the model, the capital stack and the paper a credit team works through, with the base and downside cases already run.

A few lines is enough. We reply with how we would approach it and a written scope and fee.

The questions we answer
  1. Will a lender fund this?
  2. What happens to the deal in the downside?
  3. How much equity does the deal really need?
  4. Is the price right for the return?
  5. What will the credit team ask first?

How we help.

We do the specialist numbers work that sits outside your accountant’s and lawyer’s scope, and we agree the scope and fee in writing before it starts. The charts follow the structure of work we have delivered. All names and figures are invented.

M&A and acquisitions

We act for either side of a deal. On a purchase, we bring the valuation evidence from comparable transactions, the acquisition financing model with covenants tested in the downside, and the paper for the investment committee or lender. On a sale, we prepare the buyer list and the timetable, set up and run the data room, and compare the bids, working alongside your lawyer and corporate adviser.
